Canale 5 shows Invasion, a sf tv show (besides a complete presentation, Canale 5 proposes a game, in italian). It’s not really a great science fiction movie. It seems to be written for people that usually do not watch or read sf, but it has something interesting. Invasion is cleary inspired by Invasion of the Body Snatchers and similars: aliens try to (supposely) invade Earth, subsituting themselves to people. In this tv show it is interesting that not every alien knows precisely to be an alien.
The show is slow and no alien was shown until now.
There is something interesting: the two families that act as main characters are modern families. I think that authors dared to give divorce a prominent role: the relationship among parents and childs is important for the plot of the show.
Actually, I thought that authors dared, because in seventh episode one of the two mothers says that divorce annihilates you, while her child (a 13 yo boys) is telling her that she kissed a man while still married to the previous man and “This is not right”. Very conservative. I’ll wait to see next episodes.
