[it: in Thirteen days c'è un dialogo che sottolinea l'importanza della comunicazione anche in nuove forme, in questo caso le navi da guerra]
Two or three days ago, I saw a part of the movie Thirteen days. I was so lucky to see the Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara (played by Dylan Baker) discusses with Admiral George Anderson (Madison Mason) about the blockade around Cuba. A soviet ship is passing the blockade and Admiral Anderson orders to fire as warning. McNamara misunderstand and tells him to stop it. The admiral says that this is usual and orders him to let the Navy work. The answers of McNamara is:
This is not a blockade. This is language. A new vocabulary, the likes of which the world has never seen! This is President Kennedy communicating with Secretary Khrushchev!
Which is pretty interesting for communication people like me.
