Quite interesting article on French and blogs (via Ollie). Thomas Crampton explains why the blogs are strong fans of blog, both in reading than writing. I found data on blogs’ success in France when I wrote the research Blog e giornalismo, but later I got some doubts. Is Technorati wrong when it says that in April 2006 blog posts in French were 2% and blog posts in Italian were 3%? Or are data on french blog exaggerated?
Anyway, the article is quite interesting and it confirms the trends on political blogs. According to Crampton, that cites Benjamin Griveaux, “Blogs have not replaced traditional media, but they are absolutely necessary for every politician.”
